THE
MOST COMPREHENSIVE AND UNBIASED OVERVIEW OF THE LONG DISTANCE SERVICE
MARKET
Last updated on August 21, 2008:
Following is the list of not-prepaid phone cards that
are currently available on the market. These cards do not require
consumers to pay anything up front. If you decide to use this type of
cards, you will be billed, usually at the end of each month, only for the
calls you make. Please notice, however,
that not all of these cards are stand-alone cards. If the card is not
stand-alone, you will
have to switch your primary long distance carrier in order to use such a card.
Also, do not forget that even if a company does not require you to pay
a connection fee for calls you that place with a calling card, you still will be billed a
fee (around $0.30) each time you use the card from a pay phone.
